What we do…
Networking
Our informal online networking sessions aim to foster a spirit of mutual support and collaboration. They are an ideal way to build lasting and meaningful relationships with other small business owners as well as promote what you have to offer.
Masterminds
Join a group of six or eight small business owners in a one-off or six-month long programme of Masterminds. Here you will be able to “pick the brains” of other members on issues, problems or challenges you are facing in your business – and offer your ideas.
Group Workshops
Join a group workshop with one of our Business Bestie mentors or a guest expert and work on your business. These sessions are an opportunity to get advice and pick up new ideas to move your business foward.
1:1 Mentoring
Our Business Bestie mentors have a wide range of experience in running a small business and are able to offer advice, make suggestions, challenge you, act as a sounding board and signpost you to other people or services that you need to grow your business.

I'm Tracey Sweetland
I am the founder ofThe Business Connection, which started life in 2016 as a germ of an idea to create a hub for small business owners.
I have been on my own small business journey since 2014, when I co-founded a local newspaper with three colleagues.
Since then I have set up my own successful media and marketing company and been involved in the launch of a series of B2B and B2C magazines.
My vision for The Business Connection is that it will become the network I wish I had been part of when I first started running my own business to help me overcome the struggles of doing it all alone.
